  1. I’m an old school bmxer…but there used to be only 3/8″ axles or 14mm axles. It’s likely 14mmx1.0 or 1.25, as it looks like fine thread. Take the wheel to a bike shop or hardware store and see if you can match it up. Most axle nuts should be flanged.

    Take good nut to a hardware store. There will (should) be a small rack with many different thread “bolts” that you can test it out on. Match it up. Read what the specs are and find a new nut in the drawers. Not that hard.

    Also, any bike shop worth it’s salt will have one they will probably just give you.

    Any BMX/ bike shop will have it. Or Amazon will have it. There’s always Dan’s comp.com too.

  4. Most 14mm axles utilize a M14x1.0 thread pitch. However, as others have suggested, it’s a good idea to visit your local hardware store to verify the size.
