Hey East Coast bikepackers, I’m the creator of the [Jersey Devil Hunt bikepacking route](https://www.jerseydevilhunt.com) in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I designed the route to be easily accessible by public transit—you can reach it by train from any major Midatlantic/Northeast city!
On Saturday May 3, I’m collaborating with [Bikepacking Roots](https://www.bikepackingroots.org) to hold the first Grand Depart on the Jersey Devil Hunt. It’s totally free to join and we would love to have you!
The route is 170 miles long and would take 3 days for the average rider. You can also do just the first half, as a train station near the halfway point will bring you right back to Philly’s main train station.

Tons of info on the route is available at the [Jersey Devil Hunt website](https://www.jerseydevilhunt.com) starting at the [Basic Info](https://jerseydevilhunt.com/basic-info/) and [Plan a Trip](https://jerseydevilhunt.com/plan-a-trip/) pages.
Hope to see you at the Grand Depart on May 3 – or that you’ll come and ride the route on your own some other time!
Oh wow this could be fun!
