Join us in part 17 of our thrilling motorcycle travel series as we continue our epic Harley-Davidson journey across Spain and France! After braving the ferocious winds of Storm Kirk on the Pyrenees, we finally descend from the mountains, shaken but relieved. In this episode, we head to a quaint mountain town Argeles Zogost to find a hotel, rest, and reflect on the wild adventure of surviving one of the most intense storms we’ve ever faced.

Recharged, we hit the road again, exploring the scenic landscapes of France. Our route leads us to the charming coastal town of La Rochelle. From there, we ride across to Île de Ré, a stunning island just off the coast. We spend a magical evening in the romantic Port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, soaking up the atmosphere of cobblestone streets, historic charm, and breathtaking views.

  1. Mark Lisa, I've just discovered you both, you seem lovley genuine people, I was gutted for you when you got caught up in those terrible gales up in the mountains, your were so concerned for Lisa's welfare mark, but you give it the old Bull dog spirit mate and got through it, well done to the pair of you. Looking forward to watching more of you Both 😊

  2. Great trip guys! Love your set up for 2 up. My ride of choice is a Rocket 3 TFC, love it! It is more than a bike to me too. An extension of me and a real sense of occasion when on an adventure together.
    Epic tour!

  3. Mark and Lisa, thank you for taking me on your journey. It's been fantastic, full of lasting images and poetry. The bike has been amazing. I can clearly see the connection and soul. Some machine. Best wishes to you both and your Family.

  5. Mate, your description of your love of the Roadking is awesome! Please stop doing that! It's going to end up costing me a lot of money when I bite the bullet and buy one😂🤣😂🤣😂

  6. Stumbled upon your channel a few days ago. Thanks for the content!

We've been doing similar trips with the boys throughout Europe over the last years and have had our fair share of those winds. Glad you guys made it down the mountain and good call to stop when descending along the cliff side. Il de Ré is a dream but as a belgian seeing Jupiler being poored into a Stella glass…blasphemy. Don't know the route you guys took, but travelling up along the atlantic coast is a real treat with towns like Honfleur as absolute gems and impressive WW2 history. If not done already, waypoint it for the next one 😉

Good luck, safe travels and keep rollin'
