Thought I’d share my build video that I finally got around to making since there was some interest here last time when I posted a photo. It’s built off a titanium C-line like frame from Aliexpress (Bona Ti Store) so it’s a Brompnot.
A lot of people have concerns about frame flex but i’ve taken this out for some long rides already (95km was the longest) and if there is flex I guess it doesn’t really bother me. Note that I weigh about 70kg and when I did the 95km ride it was a bike packing trip with an additional ~8kg luggage weight. But I guess any flex will come from actual power output from your legs causing the bike to flex side to side.
I got a new action camera that I will film more rides with so if people have suggestions on how frame flex can be captured objectively on camera vs actual ride feel please let me know.
