Year 2022 , our continuation of series of trips around Baltic sea. This time we cycle through Finland. Starting from Helsinki our route takes as east and fallows “Salpa line” defense fortifications from Second World War. Driving further we take a detour through most beautiful Finish Lakeland with narrow passages between lakes, islands, and bays. Our journey ends in North Karelia just shy of our initial goal of reaching city Kajanis. With cold northern air dropping night temperatures close to 0 we took a train back to Helsinki with all the good memories of this wonderful journey.
