Left is my Pivot Mach 6, right is the newer Stumpjumper I bought sort of as an update. They’re pretty similar in setup, but now I’m not so sure i wanna get rid of the Mach 6.

So, I figure make them a bit different depending which trail I’m riding.

The Stumpjumper is a bit longer. I’m thinking make a mullet out of it. Make it something fast and smooth for the flowy trails. And keep the Mach 6 the technical trail killer it always was.

    Wha’d’you think?

  2. I agree with sell one. Having 2 bikes that fill almost the same roll just doesn’t seem right. But having 2 bikes that are different is great. You learn different techniques, and you have a backup when one is down. I would suggest either a short travel full suspension, or a hardtail.

  3. Best bet is to just get rid of one of them and either buy an actual very different bike or pocket the money and be happy with what you have. Mullet isn’t going to be life changing
