Is there play when you sit on it?
Idunno what is wrong with your seat but I like that cat can you pet it for me pls
See if you can pull the rails free of the molding. If moderate muscle power doesn’t pull it out, actually sitting on it should be OK.

Second, i had a saddle which was loose while driving at it did make me Go nuts…
