What could be wrong with my front derailleur? I’ve had it repaired twice at two different shops, but the issue persists. At times, it works smoothly, while at others, the chain grinds, as shown in the attached video. Can someone provide a reliable solution? I’m becoming increasingly frustrated.

You likely need slightly more tension on the cable. There should be a barrel adjuster somewhere along the housing. Adjust it in half rotation increments until the fd shifts smoothly.
If that doesn’t work, it could be the limit screw located on the derailleur. Look at both screws, figure out which one is preventing the derailleur from moving any further out, and adjust it quarter turn at a time.
