The higher the front wheel goes……

Toss your butt a bit farther back (and a bit lower) in the windup, and push your feet forward when you’re bringing the front wheel up while pulling yourself up with the handlebars. If you do it right, you’ll be on the edge of looping out the entire way. Pushing forward with your feet is what ‘flicks’ the bike. Also, quit looking at the ground right in front of you, because you go where you’re looking and looking down steals your height. You may have better luck practicing bunnyhopping *onto* something so you have something to aim for.

Use your body to absorb the landings to make them smother, and act like a spring on takeoff. Compress into the ground and jump with all your might, then push the bike away from you slightly before you land, as soon as the tyre hits the ground you compress again to absorb the impact
