This in-person event was held at the St David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay. The event gathered energy researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders for thought-provoking discussions, engaging presentations, and networking opportunities.

This session includes introductions from Professor Nick Pidgeon of Cardiff University, as well as UKERC Director, Prof Rob Gross. This was followed by a keynote speech from Ed Sheriff, Deputy Director of Energy, Welsh Government.
The main panel session featured presentations on the Review of Energy Policy 2024 from Prof Peter Taylor, UKERC, University of Leeds, Prof Meysam Qadrdan, UKERC, Cardiff University, and Dr Jess Britton, Edinburgh University, before a Q&A discussion with the audience in Cardiff.
