WHAT THE HELL did you do to Greta Thunberg, Chris???! Since when did she became you “son”?? 😮😮😮
Where is San Diego?
Great idea to have this video! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next. Pretty amazing for Garret to get a 400 mile week after so little time training. Now I wonder if he could actually get to do a mass century ride? Comments on nutrition etc while doing it? I hope it continues. VERY entertaining to watch
Great content. I've got to get back in shape which is hard having twins recently 😂
Sooo cool… I can imagine doing a Chris Horner workout with intervals wouldn’t have been fun, in the truest sense of the word… 😅 Happy New Year Chris!
So cool to see father and son into the same sport. Kudos both!
Sugar for fuel is fine but why fake food like Snickers and soda isn't necessary. Trans fats and chemicals will destroy your body
First: I love your channel! … and watch everything of yours coming through my feed!
Second: Excellent video.
Third: I lived in SD from 1992 => 2019 (now in Silver City NM) … and remember my 1st time up Highland Valley! … I ground to a stop on the little false flat just before the top… with both feet still in pedals … pushing and pulling as hard as I could. Very Memorable… with George my riding buddy at the time easily cruising up in front of me…
Fourth: Keep up the Great Work! All the Best to You Guys! … and Take Care!
The strongest rider on my team is my best friend. He is the easiest guy in the group to draft off of – because he cares and does not want to drop me. My other team mates are harder to draft off of – they are not as strong – but they just don't care. I can see this dynamic in the pro peloton also. Chris was a great domestique because he was great friends with Cadel Evens, Andreas Klöden, Lance, etc (by the way I love all the stories about these guys and would love to see them on your show). But not so friendly to Levi. (the more stories I hear about Levi, the more I side with Chris). Chris, you have a lot of experience and you are the best coach!!!
I'd say he must have his old man's genetics to go from the couch to 400 miles in a few weeks. Well done!
Excellent! Let's get him signed up to an U23 pro deal in 2025.
Wow, awesome father/son video and training session. This is fantastic.
A Horner with hair! And they said it couldn’t be done…
Good stuff guys
Been riding for a while but never thought of doing 400 miles in a week. This is motivation to set a target of more than 100 miles a week. Thanks guys.
What I wouldn't give to not eat much. Such a good parent.
✋ Also still on rim brakes. I’m my own mechanic for most things. I’m sure it’s inevitable, but not until I can afford to go to the mechanic for brake adjustments.
The kid is as smooth on TV as the old man. Well done, Chris.
Great video. Solid info and fun to see the interaction between you both.
😱 he’s a mini you!
Yes, we have missed you these many months
Holy cow! Talk about spitting image, eh?
Love this content btw. As a total noob this is inspiring!
Just retired last July at 57 years old. Spent the fall walking and hiking, dropping 40 pounds. I am actually at the same weight and height as your son, now. 187 cm and 62 kg. Been hitting the gym this winter, getting stronger and looking forward to the spring to start running and cycling again after a many year lay off.
SUGAR IS A MUST WHEN YOU CYCLE!!
I didn’t know Puck Pietrse has a brother?!?!
The hibernation finished! What a nice surprise, to see both in the front of the camera. Congratulations for your great progress. Just wait when dad will bring you to some epic mountain passes. Just continue in the enjoyment.
Just small comment..could you put statements in metric system also?? Many thanks.
As a cycling coach for a great part of my life, I can hear that Chris is doing a terrific job. Congrats.
Chris, grab a flat white and a chocolate chip cookie from Lofty coffee for me the next time you’re there!
Great to see you both pop up on my feed! Great post as usual. Always teaching us some good cycling nuggets! Cheers & looking forward to the season with you both!
