Cool paint. Although, would expect Zwift on there somewhere or it to match the 2024 in game paint

I’ve been riding a 2005 Magnesium Dogma (10 speed Campag Record) since I started riding during COVID. I had a SpeedMax CF for a bit when I was doing triathlons, but sold it when I realized I loved riding, I loved swimming, and I hated…..I mean hated….running.
With three kids, I picked up Zwift back then as an easy way to get pre-work morning rides in without having to leave them unattended. I’ve completed Zwift Academy most years because I find the workouts challenging and fun (there’s no way my old, low FTP butt is going to get anywhere near a Pro contract 😉 ).
In late November, I got a very random email from a random company I’d never heard of. It had a link to a Docusign which was requesting my social security number, birthday, etc and giving me five days to respond. As someone who is responsible for cybersecurity for my company, I basically punched the delete button on my email. A couple of details stood out at me, though, so I started doing some research and was able to verify that the email appeared to be somewhat legitimate (I figured, 85% or so).
Already long story short, everything was legitimate, and a lovely box direct from Canyon in Germany showed up at my doorstep with an Alpecin-Deceuninck paint job Aeroad CFR Di2 in it. Kind of cool since it’s not a color available here in the US (the original plan was for a custom painted Aeroad in the Zwift Academy livery, but I much prefer this colorway). I’ve only had time for one short ride on it so far, but it’s absolutely amazing and I’m really looking forward to putting a lot of miles in!
