Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with my Grand Canyon:ON 9. I sent it for repairs to an authorized Canyon service partner a few months ago, expecting the usual high-quality service. Instead, it took several months, and the bike came back in worse shape than before.

The repairs were poorly done: a missing seal on the fork, rust on parts that were supposedly replaced, deep scratches on the frame (even through the protective film), and a loose motor cover. I’m honestly shocked at how bad the outcome was. Also the new replaced rims were already scratched and other things

I’ve contacted Canyon to request a resolution, but this whole situation has been really disappointing. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How did Canyon handle it for you?

Thanks for your input!

  1. Similar experience for me in Italy… I ask the canyon service partner in my city to cut the fork of my ultimate and they forgot to put the wedge insert inside.

So after a few months the fork was broken and the S.P. Do not recognize the responsibility 😞

I write tons of mail to canyon but no way… I payed for a new fork.

The only consolation is that now the store is no longer a S.P.

    Regards

Similar in Ireland. Sent back for a cracked frame when bought a new aeroad. Came back with 50% of bolts loose, bent disc on the front, poorly aligned gears, bolts ‘lightly’ stripped. The front wheel wasn’t even put on straight FFS. I’d ridden once before sending it back and really took the shine of a new bike.
I couldn’t be bothered going through the hassle. So just sorted the issues myself as lost all trust in them.
