The steerer tube is 1⅛/1½ Ahead. I'm just worried I might need a different shaped bottom cone. Or can I just leave out that bottom cone and let the fork rest directly on the headset bearing?
Looks like an integrated crown race fork so you’ll need a bottom headset bearing which has the same angles on both fork + frame. Typically a 45/45. Get your calipers out and do some measuring of both fork + frame as to what you’ll need. There are a multitude of standards and tiny differences so it’s important to get it exactly right.

Who makes the frame and have you contacted them?
