  1. Rowdies doing rowdy-stuff on hipster rowdy bikes until one of them hits the street and crying for mama. Or in other words SKREAM.

3/10 – at least video work is scenic

Gotta say, I like the energy of Skream putting out a video showing their boys cutting up traffic and pissing off cars. Sunglasses at night + no helmets pushes the rule of cool a little too far for me though, even Cooper Ray wears a brain bucket. Great production value, hope y’all took care of the videographer!

Wow Japan, wow dumb wide risers that have their torso into a sail, wow baggy pants, wow shitty lines on open streets.

    Shit is cooked.

“Guys city riding is safe you just have to be aware”
    The city riding in question:

  5. I see more cars and other subjects in the video, more bike less filler, good production quality though.

I think this video is pretty good. It’s cool that a brand is trying to do a wheel talk style video.

  7. I think the cinematography is good!

But if I see straight leg pedal stroke/bad fit it’s a downvote every time.

    Also, not fresh.

Edit: this sub asks for an opinion often, gets the truth or an opinion that opposes their own, then they blind downvote.

  8. It’s not a bad video but it makes me want to _not_ get a Skream bike, which I guess is the opposite of the goal

  9. Hipster video, well produced, scenic but hipster video, no helmet but sun glasses, most unsuitable handlebar for Tokyo, riding that is not that impressing.

    3/10

  10. Both front and back brakes are required by law in Japan. Riding brakeless here is illegal and a dick move.

Riding like a total ass and impeding traffic is not cool. It’s a dick move.

Tokyo is a great place to ride, and it’s a lot of fun, but we don’t need anyone making cyclists in general look bad. Please don’t do this shit.

  11. I didnt know what was trying to be sold to me. Then I thought “ooooh an oakley commercial” and then at the end its not for oakley? Maybe they sell oakley sunglasses also, but nope.

  12. Deythos is pretty good at handling his bike, but this super fast peddling looks choppy. Like all spin, no speed. The random skidding while riding straight puts me off cuz like, why tf would you do that? Less shaky and longer cuts would’ve been great cuz the visuals themselves are great. Most of his handheld POV Wheelie vids on Ig are longer clips without interruption. The clips would’ve been nice in a longer format. Sure that takes a lot more effort and deffo a bit more risk, but it looks so much more cleaner. I am excited for what is to come.

  13. My question is: why shoot the video at night? You can barely see the bikes. They may as well have been riding Tsunamis. Lmfao.

Also, you basically did what Dosnoventa already did almost a year ago (Tokyo, rapid cuts, zooms, etc), except they were smart about it and actually shot their video in the day, at least partially, so you can see the bikes…

I did a video with skream a few years ago in Hong Kong. It wasn’t a bad video besides the music choice sorry guys. Haven’t seen the video yet. Will judge it later
