I recently purchased an Orbea Orca M20i Team on Buycicle for €2,350, including shipping and Buycicle’s fees. The listing stated the bike was in “very good” condition, and the seller mentioned the frame had just been repainted. However, when the bike arrived, I was extremely disappointed.
The bike is covered in scratches, as shown in the photos, and on the fork tips, the paint is chipping off completely. Additionally, the cable for the Shimano Di2 battery was broken, rendering the electronic shifting unusable. On top of that, the rear hub makes an irregular noise (the sound fluctuates), and the rear wheel is slightly misaligned.
I’m very frustrated because the bike is not as described. I would be willing to keep it and repair it, but only if I receive fair compensation for the damages. How much do you think I should ask the seller to cover these issues?

In this condition i would send this thing back as fast as possible
I don’t know about the rules in other EU countries. But in the Netherlands we can return any online purchase within 14 days after receiving the item. Perhaps the rules are the same in your country.
Maybe contact buycicle and not reddit?
Of course it’s a hassle but the answer is simple, as others have said, return it.
Gatorskins are a good enough reason to return it.
Buy from a local bike shop.
Send it back.
This isn’t exclusive to bikes. If you receive a product in a condition you don’t like, send it back.
