I’d give it a quick sand and use it as it won’t be a performance issue, however, first I’d send a pic to the retailer and ask what they can do for you. Should be able to net a gift card or a decent % off on your next purchase.

I’d send a photo to the retailer & ask for some recompense, then use it. Who knows, you could send it back then fit an unmarked one, go on Its 1st ride & damage it. I couldn’t be arsed to fanny around sending it back just for that.

Don’t just return, but rather escalate the issue and get them to compensate for your inconvenience. A well-worded complaint that put the ball in their court on keeping you as a satisfied customer does wonders. Its not about greed, its about holding them accountable. “How will you make this better” is the golden phrase.
