    Unlikely to rub the tire.

Almost guaranteed to collect mud, debris, and be a headache, if you ever ride in wet conditions.

If you only ride in dry conditions, it will be ok. If the tires pick up any mud or snow you will be in trouble.

  3. It’s taller than your fork arch, which will scrape off most of the mud and junk before your cable anyway. It is likely to be kind of a pain in the ass long term, but shouldn’t outright “fail”.

  4. Does the brake even work properly? It seems a bit loose and as if it was scraping on one side the entire time and only really pull one side to the rim when braking.

  5. Unless you’re riding backwards in the mud, the cable is fine.

There isn’t much clearance between the tire and the brake arch, however. This could potentially be a problem if you have to ride through mud/debris.
