  1. I’ve been riding fixed gear for about a year now. But my first bike unfortunately got totaled after a drunk driver unfortunately crashed into it while I was on a porta potty. Hadn’t ridden in two months and my legs had been itching for a ride. I went to the local junkyard and was able to score the frame and some bolts for it by sweet talking to the guy that worked there and doing some cleaning up as payment. Next thing I did was attend every swap meet I could and traded some old useless junk I had for some slightly newer junk. Everything on the bike cost me no money because I have no money to spare…

    Pros; literally everything was free.

    Cons; literally everything is old.

Excuse the lack of name brand parts on it. The only one I think you guys may recognize is my Truvativ drop bars, which I’m sure is a copy. Even old name brands go for a lot where I’m from. Example; while at the local junkyard, I wanted to see how much I could get for a Shimano Sora 3300 crank. 4,000 PHP (like 68 USD) for the sole reason of; “It’s a Shimano.”
