  1. Just get a cloth and wipe it dry after each ride, add chain oil and wipe it again. This usually keeps my chain clean enough.
    If you have access to it, a ultrasonic cleaner will do wonders do a cassette, gotta take if of for that tho

  2. I’ve picked up some peaty’s degreaser and it works a treat. Spray, leave for a few minutes, scrub with a brush and then rinse off.

  3. If you’re using oil-based lubricant on the chain, I’d give Peaty’s Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser a try. It’s very effective and easy to control where you put it, as it’s not in a spray can. And it’s not crazy expensive. Get a stiff brush, and you’ll have everything clean in 10 minutes. Make sure you cover your disc rotors – plastic a carrier bag will do the job – while you’re cleaning your drivetrain.
