  1. I'd really like to see the UCI do something about these leadout guys disrupting on the way back through the field. Both those guys had tons of safe space to move off to,.. but obviously have been trained to do something different.

eta: this off-season the UCI did make a new rule related to riders getting in the way during sprints, which as I read it should apply to this situation. (it's the rule that some news outlets sensationally reported as a rule specifically against posting up to celebrate when a teammate ahead of you is winning). I'm curious whether/how it will be enforced. If nothing is done about this stage, then I get the feeling that nothing will be done unless it results in actual crashes – which is pretty dumb as IMO the issue is related more-so to gaining a competitive advantage

  2. Something needs to be done on Redbull's sprint tactics.
The last two leadouts made it a point to disrupt other sprinters on Welford's wheel instead of pulling away.
There should be team sanctions for this.

  3. Guys I think the UCI really needs to crack down on the jersey colors to improve safety. Deviations in sprints are fine, no one got hurt today so no need for any real consequences.

  4. 'If you watch Danny van Poppel" as the commentator says, it actually appears he looks over to see Welsford to his far right (5:47) and then deliberately fills the gap between them, blocking rider 91. Twat in my eyes

  5. Both Pithie and Van Poppel should be yellow carded for disrupting the sprint.
Welsford is good enough to win anyway so why endanger everyone in the top 20 places?
