On really cold days, I just slap on some lab goggles, like you’d wear in chemistry class. Protect your eyes from the freezing wind chill.

  2. Yep. I have some clear hardware store glasses that I wore all last summer. I had the clear ones because a lot of times I ride after work and in the spring and fall it can get dusk/dark before I get home (and a lot of trails/roads I ride are surrounded by trees, so there’s low light pretty early.

I’ve got some Tifosi fototec that I use most of the time now, but they’re not perfect and sometimes (if it’s sure to be cloudy, dark, evening, etc.) I just prefer the plain lenses.

  3. Yes, this is what I’ve done for years. I like KleenGuard 25685 which have indoor/outdoor lenses. Can usually find them for about $5/pair, so I don’t care if I lose/damage a pair.

If you have a harbor freight near you.
    They got clear.
    Yellow and smoke tinted.
For cheap. Like when I sit on them.
    Cheap to replace.
    Clear for night.
    Yellow most the time.
Smoke tinted for early morning or evening rides.

  5. Not only are you not paying for fancy branding but in the UK atleast there’s no vat on ppe products so safety glasses are great value.
