What happens if you spin the wheel? If the distance either side changes as the wheel rotates is a wheel issue. If it stays the same it’s a mounting issue.

Either wheel needs truing or your rear frame is bent.

Does it wobble from side to side when spinning or is it just always over to that side

The Brompton rear triangle is asymmetrical, but even so that doesn’t look quite right. Check that the rear wheel is installed correctly.

Firstly guess the rear wheel is severely out of true.

At least on my road bike, that happens when I didn’t place the wheel back into the dropouts at quite the same spot on both sides. Double check that one side isn’t quite pushed in all the way.

See if the tab washers, which slide onto the axle flats, “TOP” is above the axle when the Brompton is unfolded. The tab washers which mate the “TOP” bent edge into the slot of the frame dropout, position the wheel to be on center with the seat tube.
The Brompton rear wheels is asymmetric between the rear stays as noted by Visible Otter. After bolting the rear wheel, view the rear wheel from behind and see if the wheel is on center with seat tube. The tab washers will position the rear wheel on the center line of the seat tube, if the wheel is true.
