Come with me to Benfleet in South Essex as I tackle a 15 mile (24k) trail race, starting on the site of the 2012 Olympic mountain bike course.
I’ve done my research and found loads of interesting stuff to share with you as we run from Hadleigh, past the castle to Leigh-on-Sea, then past Benfleet Marina to Canvey Island. Onto Canvey and a run along some of the sea wall before heading back to Hadleigh Country Park for an uphill finish!

You managed to capture the course really well – even the hills came out on the camera. I did see you at the start pen, but was caught in the wave towards the start line before technical difficulties had us in the cold for a bit! Good to learn a little bit more about the area and see some sights I wasn’t quite taking in whilst running
