I know these are only like a step above a Huffy, but these are currently marked down to $75 at the Sierra outlet stores. They have a bolt on rear 29er wheel with a single speed kit on a cassette spacer and tektro mechanical disc brakes. It's heavy, it's steel, it does not have rack/fender braze ons.

I would buy it in a heartbeat
Scoop it up if you can. I have a redline 925 that I’ve put thousands of miles on and still is going strong.
Thanks for the tip, going to Sierra.
Oh those are way more than one step above a Huffy. I’d be fucked if I lived near whatever a Sierra is. That’s a rad bike at an even more rad of a deal.
This isn’t as nice as Redline adult bikes from 10+ years ago, but it’s still a decent bike at a crazy good price. I’d get one in a heartbeat if I saw it at $75. I still have two older Redlines & will never get ride of them.
Been through 30 bikes…bought 10 new…remainder yard sale or LBS trade in rejects. Many were box store cheapies as this is low income area. Components sucked, but I haven’t found a bad frame amongst them. Rebuilding with new components is what this site is all about. Sounds as though this is a better bike than a Wally World one. Go for it.
P.S. Had a top name manufacturer mid range bike that I bought new, frame fail. Big brand doesn’t always mean good.
I’ve got a Redline monocog from 2007 that’s still riding great. It’s in my post history. Buy that thing!
Damn. If I liked driving I’d head to Reno and buy 10 or 20 and flip em during the next four years.
