Title says it all. My dad gave me his old 90s Jamis commuter that I converted to a fixed gear 42×17. Put 700c tires on instead of 26”. Single speed chain. Put a longer screw in the Rear derailleur to keep the chain in line and tight. Chain is not loose. I have a video but cant only post with pictures.

Wait, exactly how short are you? That’s a tiny frame AND the seat is slammed. Otherwise, nice conversion!
What’s wrong is you can’t run a chain tensioner on a fixed gear.
