  1. Well done on the 100 miles and fixing the puncture. πŸ˜€
Just a thought, given the miles you ride do you add an electrolyte tablet to your water bottle ?
They do make a difference on the long rides. Easy to carry spare ones if you need to refill your bottle. 😊

  2. You are the most engaging and inspirational person imaginable. You are an amazing person and phenomenal cyclist. I'm also shocked you think you are ugly. Couldn't be further from the truth.

  3. Hi Amy. Just let you know I watch all your videos . Thanks. I am 80 years old love riding my bike. I live in Ohio USA. I watch this video when said you felt ugly, your not. You beautiful inside and out. You guys are so real and funny. Keep it up. Have a great eek.😊

  4. Amy, get an electric pump (I use the Cycplus AS20 pro), it makes puncture repair so much easier! Also try tires that fit your wheels better, I use Tufo tires and they are much easier to get off the rim!

  5. It's always good to get out of the house.
    For me cycling is fitness.
    Living with Type two Diabetes.
    I have cut out sugar.
    Stay positive.
You are doing great things and enjoy your life.
I'm coming to the end of sailing and got one or two seasons.

  6. Amy what a gem you are. There arn't many people you can name or find that are beautiful on the inside and outside, you tick both boxes for me. Let me tell you how I fix my punctures because I think it's a good method. Once the wheel is off, I make sure to release all the residual air in the tyre, then loosen it off with the lever. Careful with this one, because you can cause damage, so use a little lever, then slide it along the rim a little bit then another small lever, then slide it along, and repeat being mindful not to pinch the inner tube. When you're all the way round, push the tyre over where the valve is and pull the valve out first (having first undone the tightening ring). Take the wheel and feel gently around the inside of the tyre to see if there's still something sharp stuck in the tyre that may have caused the puncture. When you've repaired or replaced the inner tube, insert the valve first pushing the tyre over to get it through the hole, then put the valve tightening ring halfway on. Push the inner tube into the tyre all the way round then start to push the tyre back over the rim starting at the valve. Once the tyre edge is snapped over where the valve is, push the valve back up into the tyre as this is where it is easy to pinch the inner tube so you want it up inside the tyre right where the valve is first. Work your way around the wheel pushing the tyre over the rim until it's all snapped over. Quickly push the tyre over away from the rim to make sure you haven't pinched the inner tube, then put a little bit of air in to the tyre – not too much becuase now you're going to tighten up the valve ring finger tight and bounce the wheel on the ground all the way round to make sure the inner tube centres into the tyre. Then pump your tyre up full tighten the valve ring and put your wheel back on. I hope there's something in there you find useful. Keep the love, and I look forward to the next vid. TTFN.

  7. Hi Amy, just watched your latest video. You should be proud of yourself, you did a long bike ride, fixed your puncher, and felt better at the end. Great you have a lovely friend Laura, who you can confide in. A nice sunset on the way home, and you are so honest about your struggles, and well done for having the courage to share them with us. You always look well presented in your videos. Amy I'm sure you look lovely, with out make-up too. Glad you have a great family, and Kyle to support you. You are the most bubbly person on YouTube. Always enjoy watching your channel, and your self determination. Not been cycling myself for a while been too hot 33 degrees today Monday. Look forward to hearing your plans ,in the coming weeks. Love seeing Chester at your home. Everything will work out at home, don't worry about the things you can't change, everything will get sorted out, and tidied up soon. Good you went out and looked after your health. Take care on the roads, say hello to Kyle. All the best Tim Melbourne Australia ❀.

  8. For what it’s worth – coming from a 67 year old wrinkly old man – you are in no way ugly – you’re a beautiful athletic woman with a great personality AND you are also really good with punctures! Love your videos 🎯

  9. Good work Amy on replacing the tube, but you really need to carry a CO2 cartridge and adapter, Specialized do a screw on adaptor with a gauge. You will find it very hard to get to 85 psi with that little pump.

  10. Good to see you fix your puncture by yourself, which I'm sure you can do no problem. When you pump the tyre up, try putting the wheel against a lamppost or telegraph pole,it makes it easier.

  11. I think more than anything, be thankful that you have the opportunity through working part-time to get out for 5/6 hours and clear your head.

It's something I'd love, and probably need to do a couple of times a week

  12. Got a flat 10 miles from home, fitted the brand new tube to find the valve was dud. Ended up refitting the punctured tube and using my last COΒ² cartridge before a mad race for home. Only had to walk the last 150 metres and achieved several segment PR's on Strava.πŸŽ‰ πŸ˜‚

  13. Fantastic video, inspiring stuff. You look great always, glad Kyle is better. I was sick the same time, and went on a ride the same time when that dreaded ice went!!
