I’ve been working on a vehicle rental platform for about a month now, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. The platform lets vendors with rental shops (bikes, scooters, cars, bicycles, etc.) join and list their vehicles for rent. It works like Airbnb, but for vehicles, where users can choose and book vehicles for specific dates.
From what I’ve seen, there aren’t many platforms offering this. Turo.com, for example, focuses only on car rentals and is limited to the US. I feel this platform could help casual riders find rental vehicles more easily.
Some issues I noticed with Google Maps:
– You can’t book vehicles directly.
– You can’t see all available vehicles in one place.
Right now, we’ve added a few vendors in Nepal for testing. If you search for locations in Nepal, you’ll see vendors and their vehicles on the map.
I’d love to know what you think about this idea! Any suggestions for features or recommendations would be really helpful.

It won’t work for bicycles: They break down on long or even medium tours. Who is responsible for repairs ? The rider will want to claim for alternative transport and even accommodation but the bicycle owner will definitely not pay for that.
Even if the rider just does minor repairs to continue the tour, the owner may accuse the rider of damage.
Similar finger pointing is possible due to accidents.
Another problem is that riders are very picky what they ride. We have many “deal breakers”: Weight, gearing, brands etc.
Pretty neat. Could be good for people wanting to avoid flying their bike.
When I clicked on the store icons in the map view nothing happened, on Android Chrome.
