The Spectral is for rowdier steeper stuff, and the Highball keeps my riding in check when I’m out on my own so I don’t blow up and have to wait for a hiker. Both were built up with a mix of new/used parts. I still also need to cut the steerer tubes on both. I’ve just been putting it off and riding them because I want to get a fit on the hardtail first.
I recently threw the ground controls on the Spectral because I’m in a much flatter state for 2025. The hardtail will shine this year. I’m also an old BMX kid, so I’ll always ride Odyssey PC pedals on the big bike because it’s a comfort thing.

I’d love a spectral as my next Canyon so I can do more fun downhill stuff, such fab bikes!
