So, there I was, enjoying a peaceful gravel ride, when I got ambushed. Not by emotions, not by bandits, but by an unknown symphony of strange noises coming from my bike.

Since I know this community is full of cyclists with a “good ear” for mechanical oddities, I thought I’d drop a video for your expert opinions. Any idea where this delightful cacophony of scraping and grinding is coming from? Is my bike just trying to start a garage band without me?

    Something is hitting/rubbing during rotation. Take your wheels off and check your pads, check no stone of grit is hitting the wheel. Also check your front derailleur cable hangover is not rubbing on your wheel. There is a simple explanation for this…
