Hi and welcome to WannaGoBiking. My name is Arjan and it is time for a new cycling adventure!
Three years ago I started cycling in the Northeast of France, expecting to ride to the Southwest in about a month’s time. Things did not work out due to extreme weather near Lyon. So I came back the next year but was again stopped by heavy rains before going into the Pyrenees. So in 2024 I finally saw an opportunity to finish this trip.
I started where I’d finished 2 years ago, in Toulouse, a beautiful city as I found out. The first day was surprisingly nice in terms of landscapes towards Saint Blancard.
