Bikes lanes are seen as a nuisance to a car dependent city such as Chicago. When a city takes time to care about all forms of transportation, bikes don’t become a nuisance, but rather a priority, integral to urban life. Winter cycling is seen as something not possible in places like Chicago, simply because people ignore the bicycle lanes, allowing snow to overrun them, making it impossible to bike safely.
No one uses them in kansas city get rid of them and quit taking are roads from vehicles no one wants to ride bikes
More bikes mean a quieter and cleaner Chicago. We need more protected bike lanes in this city. There are too many streets with sub par to zero protection for bikes.
