Department of Natural Resources maintains many of the forest service roads here (WA State). Interesting mix of surfaces and tracks. Found some unusually chunky gravel out exploring today, looked more like railroad bed ballast than logging road. Where we’re from (Seattle) the big ass rocks are called babyheads.
