Almost done throwing the Endurace CF SLX 8 together, but one thing I can't tell — does it come with the front derailleur already adjusted?
The bike has this QR code on a sticker on the FD, which links to the SRAM how-to video on FD adjustment, and the start-up kit includes the SRAM adjustment widget. But the Canyon unboxing video says nothing about it, and FD adjustment is not mentioned in the quick start guides.
Any experience/advice you can share? From what I've read on this sub, it looks like some people have needed to adjust the FD out of the box and some haven't, so maybe there's no rule.

The one on mine wasn’t adjusted properly out of the box and therefore couldn’t shift up to the big ring.
The simplest way to determine whether you need to do anything further is to ride it. Shift through the rings and through the cassette.
If there’s no complaints, then the derailleur are adjusted well enough. If there are, you know what to do.
Part of Canyons direct to consumer experience is how little you have to do prior to getting on the bike and riding it.
My CFR SLX was adjusted perfectly out of the box. Take it for a ride and see how it shifts. I’d imagine you’ll be good to go.
Had to adjust my front derailleur when the bike arrived, but I wanted to install a chain catcher so the mounting screw would have been loosened anyway. No chain drops so far.
Adjusting procedure is easy and there are many great tutorials online.
Make also sure to use the right wedge to support the derailleur against your frame.
Did you purchase the New Stealth color? If so, could you please share some pictures?
Not the front but had to adjust the F out of my rear Derailleur on mine
Mine was installed too high on exactly the same bike. Better to check, SRAM as a good step by step video on how to adjust it.
