I have a blackburn local basket that I am trying to attach to the front of my 97' Hardrock. I am having trouble attaching the stick (center left) to the vinyl coated c-clamp. The clamp is too small for the fork.
Any ideas on what else to use? I'm willing to go to the hardware store for the remedy.

Actually they are called *p-clamps*:

P-clamps come in different sizes, so if the ones you are trying to use are too small then you can find larger ones at a hardware store.
