To be clear here I really like fixed gear bicycles and I’m always happy when I see one but this is just to funny and stereotypical lol

  2. Well, I would guess if it’s a fixie without breaks in Germany it’s ilegal, so I’m not sure who is the wrongest in this situation, because for sure the cyclist is not following the rules.

  3. Yeah, I get the seriousness around a bunch of “Freds” trying fixed gear and not knowing what it is to ride fixed gear.

However, that car’s manufacturer needs to be invested. Because if a cyclist can do that, imagine what another vehicle can do going at a faster rate of speed.

Car behaved unpredictably, and should have just followed through with the turn. But cars/pedestrians are always behaving unpredictably, so as a rider that’s something you want to anticipate.

In this case, the rider’s legs are turning the whole time; he didn’t try to initiate a skid or even avoid the car. Not sure what was going through his head, he was going slow enough that there should have been time to react. Anyway, glad he’s safe.
