Stupidly placed the seat post way too high, and the seat gave way. Seat post clamp exploded and went missing. Will it be okay to bend it back to shape and put a new seat post clamp on it ?
Frame is steel
Unrelated but the chain also broke when the seatpost gave way.

if you are unable to afford a new frame, sure why not.
Nah that frame is done.
I have seen a radiator clamp on a seat post to hold it up.
My guess is that it would probably work* take that with some salt and just know that the risk of the frame failing there again is going to higher. If you’re willing to risk that, give it a try.
If you need to do it, I would recommend heating it before bending it to reduce metal fatigue.
Its steel, so will likely bend back to shape and you can fit a new a new seat bolt. Will it be safe? Nobody knows as we cant see metal fatigue. If you do anything extreme then it would be better to replace. This looks loke a more economy model, so you probably shouldn’t be doing much extreme on it anyway. Definitely don’t be raising the seat post beyond the minimum insert marks and if you want more height you need to buy a longer seat post.
What your other options? Give it a try homie
