  1. Perfect video, thank you for sharing!! Watch out for pedestrians and cyclists on the road, learning and anticipating their body language is crucial

  2. That's kinda funny, my driving instructor told me to position my car to prevent cyclists from overtaking, which would force us to repeatedly pass them again later. This creates a cycle of unnecessary overtaking, causing more dangerous situations. Cyclists donโ€™t have special rights on the roadโ€”theyโ€™re not entitled to overtake just because their vehicle is narrow enough to squeeze through. Like any other vehicle, a cyclist can wait behind us when itโ€™s not safe to pass. Drivers are not obligated to move in a specific way to allow a cyclist to filter through slow-moving traffic.

  4. The other day when I was driving a woman was gonna cross the road but I didnโ€™t see her because I had to pay attention to two tractors coming from the opposite direction and cars were going around them. The instructor slammed the break to let her walk over and I was like pressed right on the steering wheel. It scared me because it was so sudden I genuinely did not see the woman since my attention had to be on so many other things ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  5. cyclist would you have given way for the cyclist? Itโ€™s the drivers right of way, if you ride straight in front of oncoming traffic with no precaution on a bike, youโ€™re a numpty ๐Ÿ˜‚

  6. Who is more competent to be riding on uk roads, someone who has passed UK highways test or someone who can ride on uk highways and not pass any competency test?

I am more competent than any one who strictly rides a bike on UK highways, itโ€™s a disgrace and dangerous. There should be test for anyone who uses our highways

  7. I think it's confusing and kinda stressing how they drive in the UK if I think like an average Mexican driver (where I live and learnt to drive) but at the same time I think is peaceful, like this video, where they are conscious of where cyclist is, in Mexico they ignore them or get mad that they are using the same lane and do some reckless stuff that leads to multiple accidents ๐Ÿ˜ข

  8. What a horrible instructor. Nobody should stop for a cyclist especially in London. You have right of way and stopping every time you see one is a nervous driver and will severely delay your journey.

  9. Here in Indiaโ€ฆ. People make others wait while driving ๐Ÿ˜‚ even that cyclist would stand no chance, that the instructor would be like โ€œf that guy, just drive normally. He ainโ€™t no important one hereโ€ ๐Ÿ’€

  10. I have seen multiple Driving lessons that were often occuring in front of me as a cyclist.

I understand the stresses of cycling let alone driving around London, so what I usually do is hang back relax, get a hot choc and let them drive peacefully lol. I don't want to be the reason they fail their exam, I just hope the instructor is doing a good and safe job.

Otherwise I am just being a tad merciful on the merciless roads of London.

  11. Do not give way to the cyclist when he approached the keep left sign that she circled in yellow in the video at the beginning, on your test you will get marked for that on your test. Do not stop it is not a crossing. All you can do is slow down and see if he comes out, if not carry on. The young lad did the right thing.

  12. Good learning opportunity. People don't know how to ride around cyclists. I used to bike to work everyday 12 mi away. I can't tell you the number of times I've had people yell at me or put my life in danger because they're not following the rules of the road. I make sure I follow every rule I've had people look like they're looking me in the eye and they're going to wait for me and then turn left in front of me. Had one person while I was in a bike lane add a stop light go in front of me any scraped my pedal along the back third of his car. He didn't even stop. I was totally okay. I was moving in the middle of the lane so that no one could do that to me again. The car behind me would have to wait. And then I moved back into the bicycle lane when I got to the other side of the intersection. And the reason that cyclist is moving almost into the 3rd of the lane is it because he knows you're about to cut him off and put his life in danger. So he's doing that until he can pass that vehicle in his left and move over more safely

  13. I hope that learner driver wasnโ€™t moving to the left intentionally to make a point! If so then Iโ€™m worried how heโ€™ll drive once he passes his driving test ๐Ÿ˜…

  14. These videos make my anxiety go thru the roof and if i ever go out of the is i do not ever ever want to drive because this seems so much harder to drive than i know it is here
