Got this GT Grade Sport during their big going out of business sale. It’s been assembled and waiting on me in the garage, and today was the maiden voyage! I got this rig to get some miles outside of mountain biking, but after one ride I’m hooked! Oh, these mechanical brakes are garbage.

I know this isn’t a spectacular bike by any means, but it fit the bill for me and I think it’ll be a blast for anyone similar

So far I’ve converted to tubeless and am running the 700x45c Pirelli Cinturato tires. Pedals are some HT AR06 flat pedals. I have some of the 5mm thick Wolf Tooth Components bar tape to add as well!

If you have any recommendations for improving cheap mechanical brakes let me know!

TLDR; new bike, it’s fun. Doesn’t stop well
