I’ve been following this subreddit for a long time and have been loving these retro builds and I finally finished my first one! Not too expensive, new bars, shifters, period-correct brake levers, saddle, pedals, and Maxxis DTH’s of course… Built with a friend at my local non-profit bike project shop. Learned a whole lot. Her name is Shamu. 🥹 Thank you all for the inspiration!

It’s funny when ppl say they haven’t spent a lot of money on the build and the same kind of equipment here in Brazil would make the price of my bice be in the brazillions.
Are those VO Milan bars? Been looking for some with similar sweep & rise.
