Is there a guideline on how many km's or miles a groupset on a used bike is still considered good?
I know correct maintenance and cleaning is important, however can you all help me establish a guideline for certain groupsets?
Im having a hard time navigating the used bike market. The bike in the picture is said the have only gone 33km's or or about 20 miles.
The tires look good to me.
The paint on the tooth of the chainring make me not trust it.
It is an entry level bike i have to add.
What do you guys think. Thanks.

It depends on how well it was maintained. You can wreck a groupset in a few thousand km or it can last tens of thousands depending on how the chain was maintained.

It’s paint on which a metal chain is rubbing. Of course it’s going to rub off quickly.
You took a photo of your screen so it’s almost impossible to make out any details, but for what it’s worth, the chain looks squeaky clean.
Those braking surfaces look a little more than used than just 33km I must say, but difficult to tell with photo quality
