    This is xbiking, you do whatever the hell you want to a bike, and if you like your bike : it’s and xbike.

    Buy it, strip it, clean it, reuse what you can, put some nice parts on it if the budget allows it, throw those fenders in a trash fire.

  3. Besides, that frame looks large. Is this a road bike’ish frame?

    I would replace the tires first. After that you’ll have a new bike.

  4. Pretty much a cheap version of whatever you want to do with MTB tires. Winter commutes, mountain biking, offroad touring, rough gravel etc. Invest in parts you can move to a more “serious” bike if you get hooked, because you’ll probably eventually want to upgrade. Or just buy pauls rim brakes and 26er rene herses. whatever.
