VIAIR (the air compressor company) is entering the bike market and gave me this for testing.. it’s been pretty sick to have exact readings on the trail to find more grip, recover from flats etc and the presta head is high quality, but I haven’t dropped or got it wet yet. The case is made of a soft plastic and claim to be “shockproof” What do you all think?

I think that’s an absolutely great idea. Looks so compact
hand pump, mine has a little pressure gauge on it but not sure how accurate it is.
that things pretty cool until you actually need it after 3 weeks in the saddlebag and your battery’s dead. is it noisy?
Do you have a link for that thing? Im interested
How did you like it ?
I use CO2. If the price is right though a little pump would do nicely.
This looks awesome. Any additional information to get your hands on one!?
I want one. What’s the MSRP going to be?
Edit: small hand pump and a gauge but would like to consolidate.
I stop at the LBS for a helium top off once a week. Kinda pricey, but it shaves a few ounces off, and it gives 12% higher jumps, so it’s worth it
Keep seeing adds for these on social media. I’ve been curious to hear actual reviews.
This looks very tidy
Take my Money!!!
I keep a couple co2 carts but this would certainly replace that in my kit.
something like this would be my ideal goal but as far as i know there hasnt been one on the market that works great with mountain bikes. Will be interested to see the reviews on this.
broken floor pump 😆
Will be interested to see how it performs, but would definitely buy one if the effectiveness and price is right
With 25g co2 canister and a inflator
Normal stand pump and a hand pump. I’ve gotta say though, 14 PSI in the rear on a standard tire?!
How many tires can it pump up before it needs a recharge? I have an AliExpress version of this which is larger and not as well made. It can handle about 8 tires being pumped up before it needs a recharge. Still I find it very useful as I often throw bikes on the rack go to my trailhead and find a tire is low on air and this is an easy way to pump it up no muss no fuss
Is this actually an inflator or is it just a gauge?
Is there enough airflow to reseat a tubeless tyre? If not then I can’t see a use for it to replace a proper pump.
Have you compared the accuracy to anything?
Id be super interest in one. Can it do Presta and Schrader? This would be awesome for Dirt bikes too. How long does the battery last and what PSI can it do?
The Fumpa Pump was the first mover with these smaller electric pumps, and seem to be the highest quality. I just go the newest one that lets you use preset pressures.
I like that this one is compact but still has a screen. The smaller fumpas don’t have that.
However, I never really add pressure on the trail, since I always set at the beginning of the ride. I have occasionally dropped a little mid ride, but that’s usually all vibes anyways.
HAND PUMP, never need to worry if i charged or if will hold for 2-3 more punctures.
