I don’t know if other folks are doing this, but I discovered that an old threaded headset reflector bracket works great as a bag support for smaller bags. This one is made by cat eye. Helps to stabilize the bag and keep it off the headtube. You can probably find one for free in a pile of garbage, or steal it off your dad’s hybrid.

I dig the bag support and the light mount! Unfortunately I don’t think I could apply either as I need to preserve the cable path for cantilever front brakes.
I’d flip it upside down. Won’t it just slide down and off?
