  1. I think it looks like you’ve got the idea. I don’t have a critique on your execution. You’ll get less awkward, and gain better bike handling, and bike control (become more jedi-like) with more **mileage** (time on the bike). A lot of what your doing is, training your conditioned responses, which isn’t something you necessarily reason with – it comes with mileage, time on the bike doing those things, repetition. This is basically why a professional dancer, gymnast, or athlete needs to stay in practice to help with their awareness, fluidity, strength, muscle memory.

    Riding with riders better than you, helps, or watch videos. When you see something done right over and over, at some point, you’ll have an “ah-ha!” moment when you’re riding. You’ll feel it when you do something better like you’ve seen it, or smoother.

    You don’t need to knock your self out with long sessions. While 45-60 minutes is good, if you ride for 15-20 minutes a day working on something, it goes a long way. If you ride at least 1-2 times a week, can help your progression. Riding more may help at times.
