  1. Great new WR. Watching BBC coverage & have to say Chris Boardman is no longer the go-to expert, he hasn't a clue about contemporary cycling, so no heads up for the impending WR, just BBC comms wittering on about the Brit who never came close. Carlton is superb as always. Boardman is not even a UK disposed 'expert', he completely missed Anna Henderson in comms when she came through to win silver in the Olympics. He's had a very long run but why can't they employ someone who doesn't already hold down a permanent Govt Commissioner role & obviously doesn't need the money.

  2. 1:04 "… but just watch Josh Charlton start to eat into this. He now is a world record holder and that's for a very good reason. Just look at his position, Joe, it's phenomenal."
1:54 "Josh Charlton waiting to impose himself here. it will be slowly but surely. Let's have a look at the next split…" (He keeps waiting)
2:20 "… 'can he (Milan) sustain it', that's the question… What about our next juncture… Let's… have a look here…" (He was able to)
2:34 "Let's see if he (Charlton) starts to impose himself now…" (Gains two thousandth of a second)

    Lose.

    These Brits will never learn…
