Hi. So I’m prepping for a Pacific Coast tour this year and I have a set of Jones Loop bars on my rig that I love. I’m looking for an extra hand position to rest my hands up front- something like the SQ Labs Inner bar ends. The problem is, I’m pretty sure you can’t put these on the front loop as they are made to slide on handlebars and the middle of the loop up front doesn’t have any openings to do so. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!
If you ever want to mount a handlerbar bag up there I suggest using two of these heavy duty clamps. That fixed my mystery of adding my ortleib bag up there on the loop.
That is both (1) extremely narrow and (2) extremely high reach. It will look a bit crazy, but why clamp a bent bar-end near the three-way joint such that the bends angle in? It will give you adjustable reach and a bit more width.
