Yes, those are getting too hot.
It’s OK if the surface gets hot enough to pick up a golden/straw color (like seen on the arms), but the darker black color is overheating.

What is the solution to this problem? I think I’m going through the same thing. I got a pair of TRP DHR EVOs and skimped out on the rotors by getting some Formulas which in hindsight was stupid.
