Hi all,
While cleaning my chain I noticed that it is rubbing against the sidewall of my rear tire in the lowest gear.
The bike is a 2 year old Xtracycle eSwoop cargo bike with a SRAM NX-1×11 X-Horizon derailleur.
The chain has 1500 miles on it but is not worn out yet (as measured by the park tool). The derailleur hasn't taken any hits (to the best of my knowledge). The wheel was never taken off the frame (so no misalignment). The tire pressure is within range.
I tried tweaking the derailleur low limit screw. If I tighten it a full turn the rubbing improves a bit but the chain struggles to climb onto the largest cog. If I tighten it half a turn, I can shift properly into the lowest gear but the rubbing is still there. Can't find a sweet spot between them.
I'm attaching pictures and a video in the lowest gear (with audible rubbing) and one in the second lowest gear (with no rubbing).
What am I missing??

I’d start with checking the derailleur hanger

Your specific combination of axle standard, chainstay length, derailleur type as well as crank-side chainline simply might be incompatible to these wide tires.
