I wanted to share my first fixed gear build! It’s my dad’s old Tommasini Racing Bike. I think it’s from the 70s or 80s. He didn’t know what it was, a neighbor gave it to him a long time ago and he parted out everything. I told him I was interested in biking and he pulled this frame out from the crawl space in his garage.
Here’s my build:
H Son Plus Archetype on Dura Ace Hubs.
Phil Wood Bottom Bracket
Affinity pro crank set.
All City Cog
MKS Sylvan Track Pedal
Uno Seat Post.
unknown saddle.
I plan on upgrading the saddle and seat post in the near future. I’m looking at a nice brooks saddle.
Let me know what you guys think! It’s been fun learning. I cant skid yet so stopping is a bit of a challenge right now.

You ol’ lookin like you need track dropouts lookin ah. Haha.
Your dad is a little bigger than you, am I right?

If only some enterprising genius would invent something you can put on the bike so you can stop without having to skid. Oh well, who needs to stop anyway?
